Publish team-created articles on your website

Manage blog posts and announcements as a team while keeping control over your website's design. With Space as a Headless CMS, you can create, review, and publish content in Space, then bring it into a website built with Next.js, Vite, or another framework. Engineers can focus on developing and maintaining the site, while marketers create and update content, each making the most of their expertise.

Creating content

Create a workspace in Space for your content and add writers and reviewers as members. The team can write and edit articles, review the content, and publish it when it is ready.

During review, you can inspect elements such as H2 and H3 headings and p (paragraph) elements alongside the text itself. Check the heading hierarchy and paragraph boundaries, and add comments where changes are needed.

Comments also support mentions, so you can mention the person responsible for a change. Requests such as “Please revise this heading” or “Add an explanation to this paragraph” stay connected to the relevant part of the article. Apply the feedback and publish the reviewed content.

Connecting your website

Connect the parts of your Next.js or Vite website that you want to manage through a CMS, such as a blog or announcements section, to Space. Your website controls the layout and how articles are presented.

Configure Headless CMS in Space. Add the SDK to your site and register the connection API token as a CI/CD secret to connect to Space.

Before building the site, run the SDK to download published content from Space. Generate pages using the downloaded articles and images. Deploy the generated site to make the published content available on your website.

For subsequent changes, review and publish the updated articles in Space, then build and deploy the site again. Content teams and website developers can each work in the environment suited to their role.

Get the Headless CMS SDK, or see the setup guide for configuration and examples.
